POTENTIALe FAIR

Sales Platform for Design and Photography

9 – 12 November

As an elementary part of the cultural festival, the POTENTIALe FAIR opens its doors for the 11th time to up to 110 exhibitors from the fields of design and photography.

The POTENTIALe FAIR is an interdisciplinary sales platform whose aim is create an ideal format for the marketing and distribution of works and products in different venues, and to create a multi-faceted network of contacts.

In addition to the classic showcase with its categories of applied art, design and fashion in Pförtnerhaus, as well as artistic photography, Alten Hallenbad attracts the additional workshop format: designers and artists allow you to watch them in the process of bringing their products to life, and also offer their products for sale. Feldkirch’s perfect location and continual work on this event concept have helped the POTENTIALe FAIR enjoy a good reputation in the design scene and be able to welcome top-class exhibitors every year.

Reichenfeld Area

The Reichenfeld boasts a unique atmosphere and an exceptional setting. In this historical park there is a complex of buildings with three central structures: the Pförtnerhaus (Gatekeeper's House - built in 1899/1900), the Landeskonservatorium (State Conservatory - opened in 1856) and the Alte Hallenbad (Old Swimming Pool - opened in 1965).

In this architectural fusion of neo-baroque, historicism and the architectural style of the 60's ArtDesign Feldkirch gets its inspiration. The interaction of tradition and modernity offers designers and artists an ideal prerequisite for an impressive appearance as well as innovative, high-class design ideas.

The Reichenfeld area is centrally located and separated from the town centre by the river Ill. Two pedestrian bridges and two car bridges provide a seamless connection. The whole Reichenfeld area is traffic-free; the two-storey underground car park is located directly underneath the park.
